Hunter Chase took piano lessons with me from 2000 until he graduated high school in 2009. That fall, he began his studies in math at the University of Illinois, Chicago, home of the Laura Spelman Rockefeller Memorial Carillon. He became interested, and decided to give it a try.
Well, as you can see and hear, he has become quite an accomplished carillonneur, and in the summer of 2015, he is going on a short tour of the east coast, playing in four recitals! I am delighted that Hunter has continued and expanded his interest and growth in music…what more could a piano teacher ask of a former student? I am proud of you, Hunter!
